We had 2 cabins and one trailer. The cabins were lake views and just beautiful in the evening with the sunset. They were big inside with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room and eat-in kitchen. There was also a large sunroom with table and chairs. Outside was a large balcony with BBQ and 2 propane tanks. Also, we each had a fire pit and picnic table. A short walk and we were at the lake. The wild life and walking trails added to our great holiday. We will all be coming back again and again. It is a short drive, about 2 and a half hour drive from Winnipeg on Highway 12. Such a great place to go and have fun. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the restaurant is great with such good and very large servings of an array of food.We ate at the Fire and Water Bistro. Try the Chicken Asparagus Pasta if you do go there. More read less

The golf course was Beautiful but the food service is painfully slow. Waiting 40 minutes for a burger and the dinning room isn't even busy
Awesome golf course. Love it. Cabins are super clean and up to date.
Was a great time besides the tick that was lodged me in for a few days

We could barely believe we got all that we did for the price. We were really looking to unplug, rest easy and enjoy the simple things again. Nature, good food, wine, a beach and a lake. We are not ready to buy our own cabin, but now we're not sure we even need to. My husband and I started to talk about coming back and how our baby would enjoy it at each stage of life in the future and how we could ramp up the activities if we wanted to! This is totally a hidden gem of Lake of the Woods. read less

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We came in a big group so we have 4 cabins all by ourselves. The cabin itself was quite big enough for a 6 occupancy. The best part of that is its just few steps away from the lake side. The only “no-no” are the flies near the lake, they dont leave marks but they sting so hard on your skin. Just dont forget lot bring a lot of mosquito repellents when you visit Buffalo Point. Rating: 2-thumbs up! We had a really nice weekend, away from the hassle from the main city. read less

We had a great weekend, great golf except for the Lady that I dealt with when I was booking our tee time. I don't know, she just kept asking questions that I don't think we're necessary when booking a golf tee time. She even asked me where are am I going to pickup my golf equipments as if I'm going to steal the golf cart. I just felt that I have no right to play there. But all in all, it was great. Definitely coming back. read less
